Our 11 year old son came down with acute appendicitis. At his doctor's recommendation, we took him to St. Mary's Medical Center early to get him checked out to be safe. As it turned out, he needed surgery and Dr. Fischer performed a laparoscopic appendectomy early the next day. Our son was in and out quicker than we expected. Dr. Fischer came to greet us in the waiting room to inform us that everything went smooth and the procedure was a complete success. We just had our two week followup and our son is healing perfectly with no adverse reactions or complications. We are so grateful to Dr. Fischer and her staff for being so available, so incredibly knowledgeable and all with such a fantastic bedside manner for our 11 year old. Her office in Jupiter is very close and convenient. We simply could not ask for a better group and a better outcome for this unfortunate circumstance.
